| Jill's education and work history include a BS in Biology from Eastern (College) University and eight years in management with Pacific Bell in southern California. Before launching DogToys.com in 1997, she owned a 70 seat restaurant, and spent a decade working with her siblings in the auto insurance field. At 40, she's was ready to settle down and adopted her first dog, Brownie - a Jack Russell Terrier. Brownie's insistence on playing with her favorite toy - the toilet brush inspired Jill to find more suitable toys. DogToys.com was born. Within 14 months, CatToys.com followed - in fairness to cat lovers (who kept asking for a cat web site). By 2000, shop owners, vets, and groomers were asking about an online venue to buy pet supplies and RetailPets.com was launched. Our Company's growth has been the result of following the lead of our customers. They created the demand and we followed by enabling them to shop and have product delivered to their homes and businesses. "The entire cycle: the early days, the huge mistakes, the loyal employees, vendors and customers, and most of all the Grace of God. There are so many things to be thankful for.
